Clear blue sky all day!  An 8 mile cruise through Congleton and down to Kidsgrove. It took 4 hours and included 2 locks.

Working today. Penultimate day of holiday relief

Started today's cruise at Kidsgrove and travelled 11 miles to Trentham. It involved 7 locks and took 6 hours. It also involved going through the Harecastle Tunnel at Kidsgrove - its 1.6 miles long and took 45 minutes to go through.

Finished work. 2 weeks off now. Going to the pub to watch footie

Rain this morning so we didn't cruise, but set off at 2.15 and we did 8.25 miles (including 3 locks) and moored up at 5.45 at Great Haywood.

Getting granddaughter today until Thursday

Over the last few days we've stayed in Rugeley, and today moved on to the Coventry Canal at Fradley.

12 miles cruised today including 13 locks. It took 7.5 hours including a stop to fill up with water. Now near Atherston.

We didn't move off today as we are waiting for a new engine to be fitted.
Going to Birmingham on the train tomorrow.
