miramar up the mountain

Hi, does anyone know anything about the row of houses on the mountain in caleta. They are the ones with the black spiral staircases on outside. There are some on offer at very reasonable prices . We have rented one in the past and found the size perfect for us. At the time many had never been lived in . Just need more info before our visit this month , with view to looking further into purchace on the island. It will be our tenth visit. Cheers

We looked at them but not many are lived in and it looks a bit deserted....apparently they are going for good,prices, I think Carmen Villazan estate agents in Caleta have them. Certainly from memory the whole place looked a bit run down and empty, although if they all sell, that could change. There are other ones right up at the top of the hill, round the top and down the left hand side, which are red in colour, quite a few of them are occupied and the complex looks bright and clean ill try and find a link....

hi, we bought a house in miramar 2 years ago now and we love it. We bought through goldacres and used Glex& co for our solicitors everything was straight forward. Steve and Anna of chipmonks look after it for us when we are not there. Never had a problem, no damp what so ever! Still quiet although more people are moving in , but personally i love having no neighbours lol, just wish they would hurry up and fill the pool across the road.

Many thanks. We are coming out again in may and staying at miramar once again. Hopefully some bargains on the front line. One has just sold for 37000 euros. Number 16 I think. Cheers

My mate bought one and moved in November last year, stuck a kitchen in and has never looked back. He certainly hasn't had problems with damp or anything else. Seen one advertised today for 41k - absoloute bargain!!

Coming out this week to have another good look. Have rented a place on miramar to get a feel for the area. The 41k one has just gone up to 45. It has been as low as 33k at one point . No 16.
