Lost is not Spanish, need to use the verb perder
Pelo only has one l

If you wanted to say my brother and my wife lost their glasses and hair it would be
Mi hermano y mi mujer perdieron sus gaffas y el pelo 

You could also use either the words esposa or marida for wife

Good, need to conjugate perder to perdieron (past tense they lost) and would be las palabras y (not and) las esposas.  Your mother had wives, funny family?
