Is it possible to get BT sports 1&2 here on the island?

Not on Sky/Satellite without a monster dish. It is on the UK spot beam.

I know someone who does an IPTV service where you can get all the UK channels, along with Sky Sports and Movie channels etc. Very reasonably priced as well. 

You will need an ADSL connection for it to work porperly.

Thanks for that Deso I already get UKTV and i wonder if its possible to add the two BT sports channels as well or do i have to have a different package ?

you can receive bt sport on your dish.
Those iptv systems are fine BUT remember you are getting pay per view channels and not paying the provider for them.....SKY and Al Jazeera have a long reach and these illegal iptv streams can and probably will be closed down or blocked.
