its easier, no fuss, no frills, no relatives after a free do, nothing fancy, basicly just to legalise it, i already have his name 
then spend christmas at home and off to caleta in january still for honeymoon

a lot cheaper as well. always important to a yorkshireman is the cost

about $100 roughly, depends what want, if just want a quick one in the city hall (sounds naughty), have to go get documents sorted then wait 24 hours, go in and wait and takes 10 minutes or so, they send all legal stuff home    or can get married anywhere as long as get the registrar booked, the whole of new york is legal to hold a wedding anywhere you want
