What do Ryanair Pilots do when they need the toilet?

I was travelling back to the UK today with Ryanair and was queuing for the toilet when all of a sudden the seatbelts sign came on and I was asked to return to my seat. Just after that both of the flight crew came out of the flight deck(not at the same time thank goodness!). The first came out used the toilet and then went back into the flight deck...I was kind of suspecting the seat belt signs to go off, but no, then the second came out, used the toilet, blethered to one of cabin crew for a few minutes and then went back into the flight deck, whereupon the seat belt signs were immediately switched off! At no time during this period was there any signs of turbulence..
Just coincidence? or do the pilots just not like queuing for the toilet? Or does it just show how bored I was and hacked off about returning to the UK?

This is a regular thing with RA - must be a company rule.

On Easyjet, one of the cabin crew stand in front of the door while crew are going on or off  the flight deck.

The best you can get these days, sadly, is a visit to the flight deck after you have landed. Next time just ask the cabin crew if they can arrange it. Generally the flight crew, where possible, are glad to obliged and will explain all the buttons and gizmos`. Good fun

No pilot is allowed on flight deck on his own that's why seat belt sigh comes on and a other member of staff goes into flight deck while the pilot or his co pilot take a pee
