One of the forms that you take into the bank has a bar code printed on it, you would think that the bank staff would be able to get it from that form if they need it. What gets me perplexed is some bank staff do not ask for the sticky paper bar code while others say you need it. You would think if it was required then the tax office would print it on all the forms that they download to you after its been verified by them, after all you are trying to give them money. seems they make some things as difficult as possible.
