In 2009, we were new to booking car hire in advance, so we used a  comparison/booking site. The first one put us with an off-airport firm, so we cancelled and used economycarrentals  and they put us with Autoreisen. Very pleased with them, so, ever since, we've booked direct.

We do check others for price as well, but there's not enough difference in cost to make us change.

Always book  a  5 door with aircon for 14 days, late Sept/early Oct

I used Autoreisin in the early days coming to Fuerte, they were good value for money, but the cars were a bit old and tired looking compared to Payless & Caberina

I'm trying AutoPlus Cars this Oct, looking forward to seeing what they have to offer.

We're on the island now, and booked with PlusCar again. Nice clean 5 door Clio for 10 days for 125 Euros, and no silly insurance or fuel scams.
