ios 7 - Any Thoughts.

I can't think of anything that I LIKE about it.

I don't like all the Flat buttons.
I don't like the telephone keyPad. Round Buttons, white background. Why are there letters on the buttons.
Message interface is boring, I liked the little balloons with the messages in. Where's the smiley faces.
Calender is the same. No colour.

All in all, it looks like a cheap phone. I hope they make an update with downloadable skins.

I have the antique 3GS so no IO7 for me.

Not that bothered though.

I've got a Nokia 6303 and it's brilliant.  Battery lasts ten days if I don't use it, but it will handle calls and texts. I put £20 on it in July (2012), and still have £7 left.  And if I lose it I can get another for a tenner.  Fantastic.

I'm happy with the 3GS apart from its photo and video abilities.

Can anyone recommend a cheap smart phone - internet / apps / but with a good camera for photos and videos?

How cheap is "cheap" ? Nexus 4 has just come down in price - no doubt heralding the arrival of the Nexus 5. But it seems to have most of the good features required, with maybe one limitation and that is the amount of space for progs/pics/music you get. But if you have had a 3GS for a while you will be used to that already.

Yup that looks like what I need. Haven't found the 16gb that cheap yet though. Sold out on Google's site.

Keep looking it will be back - the advantage of buying from Google is that the phone is not network locked
