Hi, can anyone tell me what the Tax/NI equivalent rates are for an employed person in Fuerteventura please.  Are they the same as Spain?
Many thanks  ;)

Hi Lander,Im not sure but  the Canaries are listed on the same website as the rest of Spain. You might find out if they are the same  in the English version here. http://www.seg-social.es/Internet_6/Trabajadores/CotizacionRecaudaci10777/Regimenes/index.htm I think the social security rates vary depending on what type of worker you are. Young entrepreneurs also pay a reduced rate.

Tax office in English website here. http://www.agenciatributaria.es/AEAT.internet/en_gb/Inicio_en_GB/_Segmentos_/Ciudadanos/Ciudadanos.shtml

Hopefully someone else will be along with the exact answer soon. :)

Hi Fifi, many thanks for the links, I don't know how you manage to find all this information, I typed in all sorts of searches on Google and couldn't find anything, you must have magic fingers!  ;)

Google is my best friend. ;)

On some of the sections you will still have to do a Google translate unfortunately but at least it is a little bit easier to find the information because you can see the headings in English.

If you find out will you let us know , just in case someone else asks the same question.
