GUNNERBOY

Hi there everyone.

Visited the nudist beaches in the north of the island last September, & looking to try out the beaches in the south this September. Haven't booked anything as yet. Can any frequent visitors to the south give me any further information, where to go/not to go etc. Need some more sun on my bum.

Many thanks

Hire a car from Pluscar (other rental companies are available!) and head for the Risco del Gato area.  There's a big car park there, if you walk south you'll find some of the most beautiful naturist beaches on the island.  It's possible to get your car nearer to them, but it's easier to find Risco del Gato.

Agree with tiger 79, Risco del Gato is a great beach. If you start further East at the playa Esmeralda, where Reni Egli 1 is based by the Melia Gorionnes, you can walk south from there, again spectacular nudist beaches but gives you a further 4 kilometres or so of wonderful virtually solitary walking to Risco del Gato. From the Esmeralda you can walk for maybe 20 kilometres to Jandia and Morro Jable if the tide is right. These are good beaches for the all over tan and breathtakingly beautiful. Enjoy your break. :)
