Nothing to do with Fuerteventura, but there's an announcement today that Holkham Beach will no longer be nudist after 1 July.  The beach, in north Norfolk, is stunningly pretty. Evidently repeated complaints about people having sex in the dunes has brought about this change.

Very Sad times , this beach is fantastic and very much like some of those in S/E Fuerteventura . How will making it non naturist stop people having sex in the dunes ?? The Complaints generally are of men creeping about playing with themselves and the misunderstanding of naturists again . There needs to be a big education drive by Naturism as a whole to get rid of this misunderstanding otherwise this will spread and more naturist beaches will close , especially in the uk . These beaches are really only where women can go topless too  :(

:( Sad times yet another beach gone, before long the only place we can go nude is in your own garden.
Not as nice as a sandy beach and the sea to cool of in.
Are well  8) weather hear in UK very hot for hear, been naked in the garden all morning and washing the car naked. It keeps you so cool washing your car in the nude.  8) Cheers Sunpics

Even sun bathing naked in your garden could be deemed offensive by some and therefore not advisable if you can be seen by neighbours or other strangers - unfortunately !

Although I don't know the details there is I believe a new law an amendment to the ASBO legislation which may make sun bathing (naked or provocatively!) in your back garden even more open to being prosecuted (and persecuted).

Anything you do could be "deemed offensive" by some.

But there is no right to not be offended, nor any generic prohibition of giving offence.

The law has not changed yet, and the proposed changes (under the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Bill) will involve scrapping ASBOs completely, and replacing them with "Injunctions to Prevent Nuisance and Disorder" (IPNAs).

But it does look like those may be easier to obtain (but not a criminal offence to breach).

And yes, while it is certainly not normally illegal to sunbathe naked in your own garden (no matter who can see you), this law could be used to take out an order preventing you doing so.
