Im currently on hol in corralejo and spending many hours on the beaches in the dunes safetly tucked away in a pod .... however we've now nick named it meerkat manor,  we are constantly being bothered by a peeping grey haired man who peeps through the bushes like a meerkat nit to mention a man in a green t shirt who is blatantly playing with himself  80 yards infront if us and finds us every day.... anyone else been bothered by this?

Voldermort

That part of the beach is constantly patrolled by the wardens in a bright yellow pick up truck...flag them down next time you see them and report these pervs..they are in radio contact with the Police as well..Good luck

We actually took a photo of the grey haired man today as he sought us out ,he soon ran off, I just wonder how they have the time to do their perving all day because he was around last year!

Don't seem to get that sort of behaviour in the South. The Germans tend to jump on anyone who looks to be up to no good. About a year ago I saw a "beach photographer" being given advice in German on what would be done with his telephoto lens is he did not F off

MinRich

We went there 3 or 4 times and as you say every time the same behaviour of a few have caused us to never go there again . It appears the behaviour continues , as said above Doesn't happen down the south of the island , suggest you go there or El Cotillo next time .

We went to sotavento on wed and was very nice but such a long drive weve also been to cotillo a couple of times the sea is much calmer and no such behaviour, the worst thing is that we tuck ourselves away in a pod and these guys sit opposite the opening sad specimines! If it hsppens again the other half has threatened to chase them with an umbrella pole.... now that should be funny to watch, a naked chase on the beach with an irate English man waving a pole around! Sticking to the hotel pool today for a bit of respite!

We always visit the dunes when in Corralejo, & I must say that we have never seen any of this behaviour. Perhaps it is because we are older ( so not so attractive to them lol)  & we tend to chose a different spot each day.

I think it's a particular problem of the Corralejo dunes area.  I much prefer the southern beaches, and haven't seen any behaviour like that.

 8) Not had much problem with this we have been coming for past 13 years to the beach near Riu Oliva Hotel
I should not let them drive us to the pool side, the beach is fantastic and that is what the wife and I like about Fuerterventura the soft sand on the beach and dunes.
In 13 years we have only been bothered twice by a local grey haired old man who this last February came close to our stone beach shelter and stood looking at us. Also a local with a dark blue coat on with red arm bands on his coat had an orange jumper on he was sneaking about watching all the nudists I took his picture and he saw me and gave me the finger sign. Fancy being dressed in a coat and jumper and long trousers on a beach full of nudists in the hot sun, he stood out like a wart on your nose.
Do not let this isolated goings on put you off going nude on the beach at Corry it is a fantastic place.
Enjoy the rest of your holidays.
Our top tip is buy a beach shelter and erect it close to the waters edge, we have never seen any thing unsavoury going on close to the waters edge.
These people that seem to hang around in the dunes so keep closer to the waters edge and you will have no problem.
Have a great time.  8) Sunpics

is this by beginning of beach ? been over various times of year n always same white haired bloke stalking pods ,, must be a resident as well as a pain in the ass

As much as these people are a menace maybe they need some help as they are not the brightest lights in the box are they?

We had a guy come close to our pod 2 years ago and i asked if he was looking for something or needed some help which totally embarrased him and he declined politely.

if your mannerable then these people will go and leave you in peace.

lifes to short to get angry with some people. chill, relax and enjoy your holidays folks

In a pod in el cottilo today we were being watched on two occasions once by a clothed man once by a nudist can't say we were that bothered as long as they don't get to close:)

We have never had the meerkat problem, perhaps we are too old and ugly.
