Broadband Only connection

Hi all

I believe it may be possible to have a broadband line connected to a house without the need for a telephone line rental as well.  I would be interested in having one fitted in our house if anyone can help or point me in the right direction.

You can't have broadband via the phone line without paying rental for the line.
The only way to get broadband on it's own is by wireless, such as CanaryNet.
If you want it for streaming TV or films then you need a line based broadband of at least 3Meg.

Not necessarily, V-Sat is good enough.
