No decent naturist would do that in a public place, any more than a decent textile would. They are exhibitionists, or worse. Please don't put them in the same basket as naturists, who want to be "as nature intended", but as civilised members of the human race rather than as rutting animals.

And even worse some naturist's, seem to think its ok to engage in sexual activity on the beach in those stone shelters,  thats not on imo   

They're usually not naturists, although they may be naked.

dont use the stone circles any more, unfortunately  most of them are dirty ,used condoms ,excrement etc and most dont get washed by the sea .

Interesting point re-kids on a naturist beach.

Three years ago we went to a hotel to the south edge of Costa Calma with our two small grand kids, knowing that perhaps at some time during the holidays they might see naked bodies walking along the beach, as they tend to do, so there is no way you can shield them from it!.

They did and never batted an eyelid.
They were only 4 and 6 at the time, and we are going back with them at the end of April.

Will be interesting to see if they still adopt their innocent views on naked people, but Im sure like others have said, why hide a naked body as we all have one.

Its adults that can only screw it up for children, not the other way round, so let them grow up as naturally as can be and hold back the perceived stigma as long as its possible.

Actually its quite funny there. The Germans are quite a serious bunch, and in Charco you have to wait for the tide to come in to fill the pool so you need to time your arrival if you want to swim in that area as opposed to Monkey rock where the divers go.  As soon as it starts to fill up they all go down and crouch down in the water to meditate as the fresh current is coming in, a fabulous feeling actually, but there are strictly no giggles allowed at all....they give you filthy looks if you make a sound. There is another regular, a permanently brown fine specimen of a man  who lies down beside his huge NOT GAY sign. It always makes me laugh.

We went to Charco del Palo last year, and were very disappointed by it.  Thought it was rather shabby.  Knew that there wasn't a beach, but the rock pools aren't a substitute.  Most of the restaurantswere closed, although I believe Jardin Tropical has re-opened.  Certainly wouldn't go again.

To me it is a little piece of Heaven on earth Tiger. I love the unspoiled beauty of the place and the fact that it is almost deserted. Wild and natural..........perfecto

I know what you mean about it being shabby, and I'm inclined to agree. On the other hand, most (if not all) of Corralejo is shabby; in fact most of Fuerteventura is a bit shabby, if truth be told.

I always feel sad when people come to Corralejo for the first time and leave reviews about peeling paint, cigarette ends, rust and derelict buildings: even though it might be better without those things, to come all that way and not find the true Corralejo. It's a question of getting beneath that outward appearance and getting to know the place itself - to feel the atmosphere. I liked Charco very much when I went there briefly in December 2011, although I thought at the time that it took itself a bit seriously. I really think you ought to just giggle, fifi - not your fault if the rest of them have no sense of humour.

Philip Larkin's "This be the verse" sums up that argument.  However, if parents want to keep their football kicking, howling & screaming offspring off the beach, thats fine by me
