All down the road from Caleta, to Atlantico, they laid welded metal plant boxes over a period of a few days. Now they are digging them all up and carting them away as they are the wrong size. It´s just money wasting on a grand scale.

A woman died on the night of Monday drowned in  Corralejo on Fuerteventura, as reported by the 1-1-2.

The notice was received around 2130 hours, pointing out that a woman was in the waters of the spring. When they arrived at the place and was rescued could not do anything for his life.

the sign that Woe mentioned has now been put up on drop Beach - let's hope they do it everywhere where the currents are dangerous and not just after the event

I believe they will now start handing out fines of up tp €1500, to people who ignore the signs and Red Flags, due to the cost of Rescue Helicopters and Search Parties.

Maybe with some of the Fine Money, they could erect even more signs.

Red flags were out just South of El Cotillo on Tuesday, but still plenty of people in the sea!
