just back home after another fantastic 11 night holiday in caleta de fuste,it just gets better and better.this time we had our son and his girlfriend,and our 6 month old grand daughter with us.this was the first visit for my son and his girlfriend,and they were very impressed with everything.they were especially impressed with the quality and prices in the restaurants and bars.Nestors was their favourite,closely followed by el capitan.we also hired a car and went all over the island (well nearly).we spent a few days visiting the beaches at jandia,costa calma,and corralejo.we might even spend two or three nights in corralejo on our next visit.i also managed to meet up with Deso, Lionfish and his lovely wife Nina.It,s always nice to meet up with forum members.It turned into quiet a late night (or early morning) for me and Deso.The wife,who was babysitting,was,nt best pleased.All in all an absolutely fantastic holiday.Bring on the next one.already looking for flights.

Pleased you had a great time denboy mate,worst bit is having to come home isn't it ? Mine starts next Saturday for 18 days this year - cannot wait to get over and chill...I'll have to try that El Capitan's - missed that one

Yes Dennis, you dirty stop out, I had a bit of a thick head in the morning.

Nice to meet up with the 3 of you although apologies if I was a little pre occupied, as you are aware there was a lot going on in the old grey matter.

SWMBO will be out with me in November so I can share the load.

Yes, a very enjoyable meet up - thanks for the invite. Sorry you're both home, but have to say we're still coping, still 2 more weeks to go for us!

We're at our UK "home" late October, but will be around (Caleta) mid December to mid January. Always happy to meet up for a drink with Forum members, although in our case we don't have a regular watering hole as we tend only to drink out when we go out for a meal - we don't really "do" bars. The last two Forum meets I have been to have been at The Dog & Duck which, to me, seems to be an idea venue for a natter and a few drinks.
