The nearest late Bar to the Elba Sara is The Casino, just up from it. I go in the bar there quite often for a drink and chill out late at night. It's open until the early hours and is cheaper than some of the Bars mentioned, and they have proper drinks, friendly Barmaids and good service.

You just need to take your passport to registar. No cost.

cheers woe, any music bars opened lately in calletta, not been for 2 years, thanks

Hemmingways is next to The Flower of Scotland, 1st floor in 'Castillo Centro'   :D  I think it has been there more than 2 years, Fifi would know.  ;)  :D

Kenny Delaine has a newish music bar upstairs next to where Legends used to be, Phoenix Show Bar.  :)
Regards, Neil
Looking forward to the day I tick the "One way only" box when booking flights to Fuerte. [:)]

Apart from The Phoenix which is more of a Dragshow Bar, nothing new really.  Peter from El Capitan (Captain's) is opening a new  Beer keller - "live music" venue down the steps by The King's Arms, but that's not until July 6th. Don't know if you'll still be here then.

nah... will be leaving on the 3rd  :( so we wanted a few late nights out chillin till late  ;) but not many places with music seem to be around except for bands

The centre where Hemmingways is has completely changed since you were over. It is full of new bars and restaurants and it  was buzzing while I was there in May. Hemmingways stays open until 3am and then if you want to go to the El Hambra disco  it stays open until at least 5am.   Spider has closed as far as I know and so has Rock Cafe. The centre where Pieros is is always buzzing and the shows are good.....but one person that you just cant miss .....is Brian ....in the Beer garden opposite Pieros. He is just fantastic and you can dance there too if you want.

I think that you will find Caleta much better than it was two years ago actually. It is much more cosmopolitan and it is attracting a lot more younger tourists from France, Italy, Norway and Spain......all very well behaved. ;)

These are the kind of people they need to attract to the island, they have the money and they spend it

I am useless when it comes to directions so hopefully someone will post a map for you. If you are at the Pharmacy, walk accross the road to where British Corner (now renamed Scottish Corner) is, and the centre is opposite that. Hemmingways is upstairs.

Paddster

I think fifi has shares in Hemmingways she's been in that often  ;)
