Dah - 3m waves, nothing! I was 13 weeks in the Royal Navy in 1969 so it's a piece of cake for an old salt like me!

One negative -  the bus between the City Centre and the ferry does not run for this service so you need to get a cab

Las Palmas - traffic, high rise blocks, dirt - just like most of the worlds cities. The cabbie spends 2 months every summer in Morro Jable to get away from it all. It reminded me what the rest of the world is like and you can keep it
