Yup so typical Spanish   >:(.....corruption on an unbeleivable scale...and so sad and worrying for the poor souls left trying to pick up the pieces from it. I know a lot of expats on the mainland, mostly Andalucia, who are in the same boat, getting very worried about the situation  :o

That is just horrifying.

The €100M bailout is not going to go far. The financial mis-management of European Governments and lack of any possible accountability makes me weep.

Spain needs:
- €100Bn for their regions and national government works
- €100Bn for their banks in order to sell off/write off their almost worthless real-estate which is currently way overpriced (2 times at least)

Hence the €60Bn will have no lasting impact.
The longer the Spanish government waits the bigger the downfall will be in 2014 or 2015 as 2013 will only be a year of false hope.
Then Spanish holidays will become as cheap as in 1970 for other Europeans.
