REGISTERING FOR MEMBERSHIP ON THIS SITE

A friend of mine wants to register on this site, but can't work out how to do it.
I can't help as I also cannot find a "register" icon.  Is there one? Where is it hidden?  I have gone through the home page with a fine tooth comb and still can' find it.  Help!!!!  Am I more stupid than I look?

Hi Emmi, it had me baffled for a while too. You can only see it when you are not logged in. It is to the right of the orange Home button on top.
