Ex pat community

Hi have posted regarding retiring to the Island next year. Just wondering if there is a strong ex pat community ?If so what areas of the Island would you suggest are the best.

 Quite a few British/Irish folk live up on La Capellania/Tamaragua  just outside Corrie ,not all retired though and is a reasonable community ,but i would have thought you would have to spend time looking at different areas  to get a better picture of the the places
