This is the best little film that I have ever seen about Caleta . 8)

As requested by fifi, I downloaded and compressed the file size of this video to make it load quicker.
It's still quite large - 137mb (the original was 392mb) but it seemed a shame to reduce it too much as the quality would suffer even more.
Those with good connections or patience would be better off using fifi's original link.

Great find fifi.

Wow!! what a great advert for Caleta. He loves it here I meet him when he was covering the Volleyball tournament for the BBC earlier this year. A nice mention for the Golf Course, Cool Runnings, Fado Rock,15 etc.

Captain Sensible

Excellent!

Where did you find the link, Fifi?

I knew it was being filmed at the beginning of May.

According to the Ayuntamiento de Antigua website there was a lot of promotional stuff shown on the BBC's Breakfast TV and Look North programme a couple of weeks ago.

I saw it on Annalivias facebook page Captain and thought I would share it here. I will ask Ann where she found it. Perhaps it is the same one that was shown on the tv. I think it is absoloutely fantastic. At times it runs a little slow (or maybe it is just my computer) but it is well worth the wait.

On a slightly different subject.

A couple of weeks ago when I was over I went for a look around the old Parador (yes I was snooping again in a place that was supposed to be closed) ;) and was surprised to see a load of film crew vehicles all marked with different location signs on them. They had a Volcano film sign on the door. Ann sent me their Facebook page last night and it appears that they may have been the crew from the Moses film. https://www.facebook.com/pages/VOLCANO-FILMS/118405694929983

Great film Fifi, can't wait to get back

Captain Sensible

Thanks Fifi :).  It does run slow on my computer too :(.

Yes, the film crew for Exodus, the Ridley Scott film about the life of Moses, are based at the Parador near Playa Blanca.

They are staying in the Geranios Suites and Sheraton Hotels in Caleta. Filming begins at the end of this month.

Thanks Admin for doing that for me. :) Glad you all enjoyed it. Thanks for the Volleyball one too Ashworth.

The Island is just so beautiful. I wish that they would make more films like that. 8)

It's a shame that 80% of tourists don't see it. They go All Inclusive, Airport - Hotel, don't move for two weeks, Hotel - Airport  :'(

So true Woe10 another two not miss La Era in Cassillas del angel, and Casa Rural LaEra de la Corte, someone ought to do Epicure Tours, sure there are more eateries of this standard.
