Warning!!! Thieves operating in Mercadona near Caleta

Please be on your guard as my partner had her purse stolen today. She is always very careful but the thieves unzipped her hand bag and stole her purse containing 50€ and a lottery ticket.

Thanks for that. I was in there today. I left stuff in the car , thinking it would be safe as people were coming and going - and it was .... this time. Checked out Mercadona, as I was passing, as they are about(?) to open one in Esquinzo, where I'm staying. Seemed Ok. Many things seemed priced similar to Padilla, so I'm looking forward to future stays at the Fuerteventura Princess, when the Merca' opens. It'll save me the hassle of getting into Morro Jable. Had a €2 bottle of Rioja tonight, and it was amazing pleasant for €2.

Garlic? yeuk, I hate the stinking stuff. Like Mercadona milk shakes and like shopping there (Corralejo branch).

Be careful with the Chicken. The last lot I bought there was OFF. I had to bin it. Maybe they cover it in Garlic to disguise the smell. Never again, I'll stick to Spar for my meat.

An elderly couple had his wallet taken at the bus stop in Caleta this morning and another couple waiting by the bus stop outside Rotundas for the bus to Caleta had a money purse taken out of his pocket this afternoon. They are also targeting  Macadona and the Atlantico centre. So, do be careful.

I wish I knew who they were. They would be talking in a very high pitched voice after I met them!!!!!
