You can not get the tax form now from the Hacienda (Tax office) it must be completed online and printed out then taken to a bank to pay the tax and the bank will return to you one of the forms which states you have paid and the bank will send the form/data to the tax office.

The online tax form is found here

Thanks beachlife - I have a form left over from last year - do you think I can complete that off line and just hand it in to the bank?

Afraid the old paper forms will not be accepted. You will need to do it online as the Spanish tax system has got up to date. When you input the data online the form is validated and the information is electronically saved which makes checking on whether people have paid taxes. At least you no longer have to pay for a tax form as you did in the past!!

Pho wanted to use the old form 210 which is different from the new form 210.

The online form which has to be filled in online and validated by the tax office before it will produce forms for you to print out are not the same as the old form 210 which you used to get from the Hacienda. So if you use the old form the bank may accept them however the tax office will not have a electronic record of the payment on your tax records.

Of course if you are happy to trust the tax office to in future (when you sell or die) to  be able to find a paper record which the bank wrongly accepted then you have greater faith in Spanish administration than me.

Look here at someone (Beryl) who posted on the site below who used the old 210 and got a reply from the Tax office

Although my Spanish Bank accepted the paper form 210 in September together with the cash, the Agencia Tributaria have now written in January to say I have to get it from the internet and send direct to them.
