any events over easater

Does anyone no if theres any events on the island over easter or what they do?

The Easter period is a a very religious time here, and Maundy Thursday and Good Friday are public holidays.  There are parades around all the churches.

The school holiday is the week leading up to Easter Sunday (Semana Santa).

So there isn't any Fiestas or events over this period.

I heard the kids only get to go to church - no chocolate! That can't be true, surely?

Chocolate eggs aren't a tradition here.

You might see some Lindt bunnies in the supermarket, though.
