I am sure it is already here somewhere, maybe in the Calendar, but for me those things tend to come up unexpectedly, so just in case someone is as bad with dates as I am - according to "Fuerteventura Hoy" Regata de Archipencos is taking place this Sunday, 10 Feb, 1 pm, Puerto del Rosario

I think it should be Achipencos

It's a made up word from the following - Artilugio Carnavalero Hidrodinamico Impulsado PorEnergia No Contaminante Obviamente

Yeah, I know where the abbreviation come from, but Fuerte Hoy has "Ar" variant in, so I thought maybe they took first two letters out of the "Artilugio".

Whatever it is, an event worth seeing, at least once

Yes, it's definately worth going to as 100's turn out to watch the carnival rafts make their way from the harbour to Playa Chica.
