Work on the new wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) of El Cotillo has begun.


The project which was delayed by three months will have a budget of 1,476,000 euros from the Ministry of Public Works of the Canary Islands. It will  have three elements: a small pump station, which is next to the existing treatment plant, a drive system comprising about 3650 meters of pipe, in addition to the treatment plant that will run on the outskirts of El Cotillo and El Roque.
