Advice for warmest town in the north: protected from north winds and cloud

We're looking for advice before buying 'a place in the sun' as we like the north of Fuerteventura for the surf, but we (my wife) would like to have a place protected from the northerly winds. Also during several stays we noticed a big cloud hanging over Corralejo, but not further down south as if the cloud got stuck against a mountain.

The question is how far south do we need to go to have a place out of the northerly winds and beyond the cloud that sometimes is stuck at the north of the island? However still in reach for the surf/SUP beaches of Corralejo, North shore, Cotillo, and Glassbeach.

What is the 'warmest' town in the north (especially autumn, winter and spring)?
Lajares, Villaverde, La Oliva, Vallebron, Tindaya, La Matilla, Tetir,Tefia, Casillas del Angel, La Ampuyenta, ...Antigua (seems already too far away)

Every part of the island is affected by the northerly winds and cloud at some time.

You'll need to look at a property that faces south so your apartment or villa has a protected balcony or garden.

There'll be plenty ofsun wherever you choose

Good grief! You make it sound as though Corralejo has awful weather!

There may be a bit more cloud here than right down in the south, but there's definitely no appreciable difference between Corralejo and Lajares, Villaverde etc. We all have great weather, with occasional cloud to cool us off a bit and give the plants some shade. As Captain says, the wind is everywhere on the island - it's well-known for it, and without it there would be much less surf, kite-surf and wind-surf activity. Just get a place with high fences, or put them up yourself
