Isn't it amazing how the city always bangs on about the importance of free trade, small government and how socialism is a bad idea yet forget all those ideals when they require security. Which since it's always there means there is no incentive for them to stop filling their collective pockets, legal or not

Next time we hear their threats of leaving the country if they don't get their way instead of saying nothing (as the media has) we should be making them walk the plank into the sea.

The biggest mistake (for want of a better word) was to let private banks create money from thin air and therefore control the economy/people.

I think it was around 9 million quid just for one financial advisor to the exchequer at the time, is this not lobbying but getting paid extortionate amounts to boot?

They tried the hard sell for weeks during the merger - lots of emails and phone calls.

Buying shares in any bank at the moment, especially in Spain - I don't think so!!
