Have booked a car from Cabrera Medina to be picked up from the airport. Will they ask to see the pre printed licence info or is it a waste of time doing it?

Almost certainly they won't.
If having it with you gives you any peace of mind then it's not a waste of time though.

I always download and print mine, as duncolm says peace of mind, plus if police stop you they may ask to see it.

I have always printed off the sheet from the DVLA since the paper licence was scrapped but no one has ever asked for it yet. Bet the first time I don't take it they will though, lol.
