Another great time on the island

Arrived back yesterday after our week on the island and we all had a brilliant time.  Weather was brilliant for us and even got a top up tan.

Food in Lajares and over at El Horno was as usual first class.
No issues with police or other undesirables - just a great relaxing week.

Corralejo is looking better still and some really nice shops now, albeit expensive but a good mix of cheap and expensive now.
I can see me still sitting at the Mojito Bar on the front footpath looking over the harbour towards Isla de Lobos!

Only thing I would say is the Airport was absolutely jammed packed with virtually little seating and massive Qs to all the food counters.
This was Saturday evening at around 7pm ish.

Car hire was Payless and top service and car supplied. Very little wait to get the key compared to the likes of Avis/hertz et al which were very long and slow in moving.

Can't wait to get back again or better still win on the lottery!!

Nice to hear all these positive things about the place.
Yes the airport is busy on a Saturday...I am just glad that Edinburgh flights are now back to Thursday summer timetable when the airport is quiet. Mind you there are now 4 flights a week from Edinburgh as opposed to 1 so I suppose that says something about how popular the island is becoming.

Corralejo has changed a bit over the past few years, if they get the parking sorted it will be a half decent place.Glad you had a good holiday and hope you enjoy many, many more.

Hey guys, we don't go to Fuerteventura for the shops, surely? We go for the sunshine and the beaches.

The airport could do with having a small supermarket landside so that you could get basics to last you until you can do a big shop.

 The staff at the airport should all wear little black masks, some of the prices.
