Hi all,has anybody flown with this airline if so what was your experience/opinion of them.
Seen some bad reports on Trip Adviser but most of these date back to 2012. TIA Chris.

Just about the worst airline in the world! They cancal thousands of flights daily, as they have no crews. No-one will work for them. Near bankrupt according the reports, and offer the worst ever Customer Service. Just look on Skytrax reviews.
They are cheap for a reason.
I flew once and regretted it!

Apart from that, they are fine.   :D

Looking forward to the day I tick the "One way only" box when booking flights to Fuerte. [:)]

Owned by the same people that own BA. If that doesn't worry you  :P

But not run anything like BA..The pay and conditions for both Flight and Cabin crew are awful and way below the going rate. As a result they do have difficulty recruiting and retaining crews. Their flights cancellation record is Guiness book of records stuff and get a very bad press on the mainland.

The other problem with hiring from where you can is that safety standards can and do slip and that is another frequent complaint about them. I`d stick to Iberia or Ryanair
I HATE computer thingyss

KWC

Jesus are they that bad!

I flew to/from Edinburgh to Barcelona and never had an issue.
Cabin crew were no better or worse than the other budget airlines and departure times were spot on both ways.
Well this is my experience and I may just be lucky?

How much do you think Ryanair is paying?

Funny to bring up Iberia. They share flights. Iberia being Vuelings parent . That means you can pay Iberia prices and be on a Vueling plane.

I flew with Vueling last Oct Dub-Barcelona- Dub, no issues at all.
They are owned by Iberica/BA and run co share flights. They are cheap, but you get what you pay for, I had no problems but prefer RA any day much more friendly & pleasant crew.

We did four flights in just a few days with them last October: Puerto to Barcelona and then on to Rennes in France, and the return. It was a chapter of incidents ranging from annoyances (not given the priority boarding we'd paid for, zero info during a long delay, etc) to downright dangerous.  One flight they took the stairs away then put them back to let late passengers on. By that time the plane was clearly in danger of missing its slot. It started taxiing - fast - with people still standing. Nobody could see the attendant doing the security announcement. There was absolutely no room for the last bags. They went in the loo - putting it out of action. No checks to see things were safe for takeoff; the woman in the aisle seat next to me had a drink carton and a holdall blocking the footwell and loads of books, her coat and her handbag on her lap. What chance did we have of getting past that lot in an emergency? I reviewed them on a flight ratings site. I hope I never have to fly with that airline again, though options here are somewhat limited.
