There is a shop in Antigua not a million miles away,that has a superb reputation, but you will need a car, if you are interested let me know and I will give you details

Is it the one on the junction as you come into Antigua from Triquy?  do they make to order?

Yes thats the one, and my understanding is they do, a friend of mine had a wedding cake made there, but it was some years ago.

You could try The Chocolate Shop.  Monica makes superb cakes for the shop and could be persuaded to make one for a special birthday...

I've messaged Monica days ago but had no answer from her - not been able to get down there as I've had flu and been stuck in bed - the last post on the facebook page was Jan - so assuming it's not something that's monitored regularly.  I might drive by and see if she's open later

The Chocolate Shop is closed on Mondays and Tuesday, opens again Wednesday 0900am.
