Hi,would any one know of a company or person that would deliver and collect my car to and from corralejo  and the airport ,about six times a year ,many thanks

Hi,
I looked at various options to do this because I am in the same boat(or car!) as you - I have a house in Corralejo, bought a car and visit for 3-4 weeks at a time throughout the year. The problem with what you are proposing I think would be the cost, because in effect you are paying for 2 persons time for each drop-off, plus the costs of a second car going to and from the airport to pickup the person driving your car. I think you would be cheaper getting a taxi. The other options I looked at:
1. Using http://guardauto.es/ - they meet you at the airport then store the car for you locally. Cheaper the airport car parking but still not really cost effective if leaving for longer periods.
2. Finding a resident you can trust close to the airport who would do what you are thinking about
3. Leaving my car on the waste ground on the opposite side of the motorway and walking across. I know many people do this but I am not sure how secure your car would be.
4. Find someone in Corralejo (again who you can trust) who will drive your car to the airport and collect you and then take you back. That way your car is left at your house and all you are paying for is the persons time. There is of course a certain amount of trust involved but if you can find the right person it can be mutually beneficial as (you will already know this I am sure) you insure the car rather than the person.
5.Renting a shed or a piece of secure ground opposite the motorway and sharing the cost with others in the same position - not sure how easy or costly this would be though.

I went for Option 4 and the person who looks after my house does this for me when available and it works well. I am sure there are many people will would be glad for a few extra Euros and perform this task. Also doing it this way I don't think there would be any insurance issues because its your car and its not being used as a taxi(someone correct me if I am wrong)
