Is there anywhere on the island that sells livestock.  I.e chickens , goats etc. Never seen anywhere on my travels round the island.

So Htt, you are considering becoming a real local, just like Spike - Ha Ha ha!
Do you have the land? We may know a contact that might supply you with a goat? 8) 8) 8)

More interested in chickens OMR. Always wanted to keep them either in the UK or Fuerteventura.  Yes we have the land and when in the future we spend a lot more time on the island we intend to do it. Just sounding out if there are local outlets or if it's best to import your own. Wife also wants a donkey ( her friends tell her she already has one) but I'm a bit unsure of going down that route.  :o

Snowdrop

Maybe at the agricultral fair 'feaga' at pozo negro in April next year.

That sounds a possibility. Have never been there so i will have to find out. Thanks.

Spike On Q

If you let me know when you want some livestock I'll make the arrangements. Laying chicken, ducks, geese, etc are not a problem, goats, camels, etc.more difficult. It's not what you know it's who you know, might be quite expensive though!

Ivemovedon

Ok will do. Might not be for some time though. Thanks for the help spike.
