Thankfully this prat has a better than evens chance,second only to Gibraltar, of being sent to prison for a memorable period of his life ;D........Thankfully he is not being tried in the UK, whereby he would be able to call on a small army of Social Workers (yes we still have plenty of them) to plead his case, and he would be let off, smirking of course, to do something like community Service (if they ever find him again)..well you get the drift  :'(

A totally dumb thing to do, but if the risk to aircraft was as high as the tabloids make out, Cairo would be a graveyard of crashed aeroplanes. A night approach to the international airport is like a run on the Death Star, with green lasers from all directions.  This is the norm and not the exception as I used to go there quite a bit on business.
None the less, anyone who does this should be jailed
