Well another Fest gone by and hopefully soon the lagoons will revert to tranquility again,

Although sadly it will be probably be some time before the beaches are cleansed!

As the years go by its this fest looks more like a gathering of Romanies in the lagoons with kids and Dogs roaming the beaches and the place littered with beaten up old vans

I see the environmental group Agonane is calling for the festival to be relocated, possibly to the football field. Doesn't sound like the Cabildo will agree though:

We came back on Wednesday and actually thought the clean up was pretty good. Agreed we didn't go far between El Caleton and the lighthouse but Marfolin, La Concha and El Caleton beaches were generally OK (save for some bamboo left behind) and about the same as after a busy Sunday. We also saw a goodly number of cleaners in the town for a few days after.

Yes, there's a motley collection of old vans and tents, as you'd expect, it is a music festival which is also free... but have no issue with everyone enjoying themselves.

We'll certainly time one of our trips next year to coincide with it. Maybe us oldies will even make it to 4am

Yes,

The majority there are having a good time and good luck to them, but are they not mainly just visitors.

How is it free, someone is paying could it be the Islands tax payers?

Its great with dogs running about the lovely lagoons with the owners leaving the poo poo de perro for the cleaners to remove, and of course an array of needles as well!
