In recent weeks I've seen a change of Guests and Users attending this site.

In the last few weeks when I've been on this site there are more Users than Guests.

Before there was always more Guests.

Perhaps Guests are not researching their holiday destinations now and Users are keeping in touch with friends they have made here.

Attending now:       1 Guest, 6 Users

I'm not 100% sure about this but have a theory.
Before I explain I will point out that site stats provided by the forum software is just a guide and not gospel so it's personal choice whether you or admin trust it or not.

Around 2011 ish web browsers started to become bundled with a "do not track" feature, now it's a possibility that because of this the forum software may not pick up guests, actual users/members will be signed in and therefore the forum will be able to verify these users more easily.

Again,I'm not 100% on that but it's a possibility.

The Alexa rank for the forum is still pretty healthy:

Although this is down from where it was sitting at around 250,000, I would guess that the forum generally gets more busy during the off peak seasons when people are searching for holiday destinations, so that would be more the time you would expect to see alot more guests.

There is one other thing that I raised recently that could explain the drop in visitors if indeed that is the case but admin never answered me on it:
