We have booked the jandia princess for a week in early in the new year. We have been naturists for about 6 years but this will be our first naturist holiday abroad, we have been on the odd beach in menorca.
We have booked into the adults area of the hotel and are looking forward to using the naturist area. Neither of us have problems being naked around others and enjoy chatting to like minded people.
It would be good to hear from anyone who has used the hotel recently with advice on what to expect and what to avoid in the area

We just got back from a week at the Jandia Princess. Our first naturist experience and it was very enjoyable. It has space for 50 sunbeds split up in 2 sections, around the pool and then a small garden area. Most were senior couples and German. Having not experience naturism before I was concerned my wife would attract lots of attention as she's veery pretty & slim & 24 with large boobs but everyone was just fine. Glad we were treated the same as eveyone else. Towards the week ending a couple of other younger couples came so it was more mixed.

Not a lot of conversation happening but people were polite and said hello and things. We wished we had tried to make friends but were shy as our first etime.

The beach, down lots of stairs has a naturist section about 5 minutes if you head left if facing the sea. Was very good.

Nothing to avoid that we noticed.

Thanks for the reply that all sounds good looking forward to the holiday now. Wife has said why am I worried she said she is going to go with the flow and do what others there are doing and enjoy the holiday.

Never tried the CJP but if you don't like their naturist area, pop next door to the Fuerteventura Princess hotel & use their area. I think you can still do that. It's a largish area in the scheme of things, with two decent size saunas & a steam room as far as I remember. It does tend to get a bit full though.

We where in Esquinzo a week ago & the beach was in the best condition that I have seen it in long time. As has been mentioned, turn left & head North for about 5 - 10 min. The unofficial boundary seems to be just beyond the Hobicat center under the Robinson hotel.  Plenty of  naturists about when we were there, mostly German, which it the norm for the area

Always wondered why the FP naturist zone is so busy all the time - not surprising though if they are all following your advice and coming from next door, haha!

Good to know that the beach is in good condition, but unfortunately we won't be seeing it again until next year sometime.

This is the beach photographed from further North in Esquinzo. Your hotel is just around the bend where the sea cuts in. We tend to use the sunbeds just around that corner, as it is slightly sheltered & provides good sea access.  As you can see, the sand is excellent at the moment, the previous time we visited, it was rock boulders right up to the stone circles making sea access awkward.

The textile / naturist ratio varies depending on the time of year, but in general, everyone gets on.

My wife has another question about the hotel can she go topless around the non naturist pools? She hates wearing a bikini top when sunbathing

Yes. When we were there there were topless women at all pools every day.

The only day that wasn't the case was one day by the chill out pool (in the adults only section). But within an hour of my wife going topless, she was joined by about 8 others. It seems some days nobody wants to go first that's all.

There will be no issue with going topless, but I have to ask. Why bother with pools when you have the Atlantic on your doorstep. The last time I stayed at the FP, the naturist pool was so cold, even the Germans couldn't hack it. This seems to be a common problem with Fuerteventura pools, maybe it the evaporation effect.

We use pool areas as a back up for windy days when you can't get on the beach without having your bits subjected to an abrasive shot blast. However, you can't beat swimming in the sea & then drying off in the sun.

One point though. The beach sunbeds & sombrillos are owned / franchised  by the Ayuntamiento, not the hotels, so are not free. This year the price had gone up yet again to â,¬13.50 for two beds & a sombrillo which seem to be the same old tat as usual. No doubt it will be argued that the cash goes on facilities such as changing rooms on a beach where 50% of the users are naked anyway

Perhaps this is to encourage naturists from the USA.
I understand that their naturist clubs provide changing rooms for day visitors and ban anybody who tries dressing or undressing in the open.

We were there during the first week of February this year and enjoyed evey minute of it.
I guess this was the freshest period of the year but we were able to swim everyday both in the ocean and in the pools (I too prefer the ocean !).
We did use the adults only area and specially the sauna which is welcome at the end of a cool day. The heat of the sauna followed by the coolness of the nude pool is a fantastic feeling !
The sauna area is next, but not exactly in the nude area. However the ambient is very relaxed and I have never seen anybody covering up between sauna and nude pool area !
As a relaxed French naturist I used to disrobe in the open changing room, leave my belongings there, shower first in front of the sauna, go to the sauna, then to the nude pool and alternate shower, sauna and nude pool and little rest time around pool, while permanently staying in the nude.
Sauna offers a nice window view over the nude pool area and behind the ocean.
Other people (generally older Germans) would do approximately the same, but with mor time on the sunbeds...
At no point did I feel uneasy.
I also tried adjacent Fuerteventura Princess sauna which has a breathtaking view over the ocean through a giant bow window. It is great ! The nude area is bigger than in Club Jandia Princess, but there was also many more people using it.
For what I have seen :
- club Jandia Princess nude area is relatively small, but nice and quiet, (between 2 to 10 people every time I used it)
- Fuerteventura Princess nude area is much bigger, but used by many more people (between 20 to 30 people everytime I used it)
But best part is the long beach where you can walk nude all over from both the Princess hotels uptill the first hotels in ... Costa Calma (nude sunbathers also !) about 25 kms away and all along with fabulous beach views, very few people (some nudes some topless, topless, full bathing suits or even a few fully clothed !) in a pleasant relaxed atmosphere.

Oh yes the Sotavento coast between Morro Jable and Costa Calma is fantastic for kilometres of sunbathing, swimming and nude walking. Can't wait until Wednesday for our annual visit.

I don't know the hotel but no naturist area I've ever known has allowed costumes in the pool. Elsewhere maybe, but not in the water.
