Hello from a newbie to the forum and the island. Where do you recommend that fits our wishlist?:

1 - Hotel - min 4 star, don't really want AI, preferably right next to beach, and not loads of kids. Sea view too
2 - Eating out - rather do B&B and be able to walk to a few nice restaurants
3 - Beach - be able to walk there, be nude, and if possible do long nude seaside strolls. As a bonus not so windy in September that you have to shelter from it

So far RIU Palace Jandia appeals - also looked at Fuerteventura/Jandia Princesses.

Oatcake,

If you want to be able to walk to a choice of restaurants you need to be in Jandia/Morre Jable itself, so the RIU Palace would suit you better. There are no restaurants in the immediate vicinity of the Princess hotels, so you would need a 5/10min taxi ride each way each time. Or you could walk along the beach from the Princess, takes about 30 mins if the tide is out, and get a taxi back.

It is possible to do long nude strolls once you get onto the beach but you need to cover up to get there. Of course there are some areas in front of hotels which are mostly textile, but no-one seems to mind most of the time and north of the Princesses is a naturist's paradise all the way to Costa Calma!

We've been to Jandia a couple of times and the selection of restaurants is limited. However we stayed in a lovely hotel on the Main Street called Faro Jandia. Hotel and food were excellent and there are other restaurants very near, although nothing like the quality to be found in  Corralejo.

 8) Riu Oliva Beach Hotel right on the beach, walk 100 yards from the hotel on dunes edge and just strip off and you can walk for miles naked getting that all over tan, just magic place.
Riu Oliva Beach is classed as three star I think but we stayed their for past 14 years and it brill.
If you want more up market try Riu Tres Islas just next door never stayed but its much newer and more expensive.
Down side you would have to walk 400 yards before getting naked if going up the long flag beach but if you go out of the Riu Tres Islas back door near the gym you can strip off straight away no one will take any notice of you. Walk up the beach and find a pod to settle down in
Only time that we are clothed is on approaching the hotel from the beach or in hotel grounds.
Must book soon as I am getting all excited babbling on about how good this place is.
8) Have a great time. Sunpics

Hi

Have you ever considered renting a villa? There's a wide choice unofficially available, many with private pools. Most are treasured by their owners but lie empty for most of the year, so they are home-from-homes.

I know of several that would fit your criteria.

Re: Where to stay for naturist beach/walks in Jandia/Morro Jable ?
I would consider :
- the two Princess hotels,
- the SBH Paraiso Playa
- the Melia Gorriones
- the H10 Playa Esmeralda in Costa Calma

These four are along the line with direct beach access to the 25 kms long Jandia beach

Melia Gorriones and H10 Playa Esmeralda aren't what I'd consider handy for Jandia/Morro Jable.

The SBH Paraiso Playa is better located, but I think it's all-inclusive only and is totally isolated, so no good for the OP's request of "Eating out - rather do B&B and be able to walk to a few nice restaurants".

If you want Self Catering or B and B or even half or full board try the Sol Jandia Mar in Morro Jable. We're about to stay there for the fifth time and find that its really well situated for evening walks into Jandia or the old fishing village. There are lots of good restaurants / bars in both.

We're naturists and love the south of Fuerte, although we hire a car at the airport (makes for a quicker drive to hotel) and is perfect for visiting the Sotavento beaches just out of town. We walk miles nude every day between Jandia and Costa Calma. As stated earlier it really is a naturist paradise.

The beaches within walking distance are vast and it is possible to practice sunbathing as nature intended. There are more textiles on the main beach although near the Faro it is mostly nude. We swim nude every morning  in front of Robinson Club. In fact most early morning dippers do so nude - it really is go as you please - the Germans and Scandanavians  are far less prudish in their attitude to nudity so it is the norm rather than the exception.

So have you any photos of the type of accommodation , complex and what the surrounding area is like , sounds ok to us. Send us via email if you like , thanks

Enter Sol Jandia Mar on Trip Advisor - lots of reviews and photos - as usual some good some bad - we've no complaints about the place. It's location is really good. On google earth its next to the Cosmo CC on Calle Bentjui.

I have been to one of the Princesses in the Esquinzo area and also to Club Magic Life.  The nudist area at the Magic Life is excellent with a nude sauna, steam room and a small pool.  There are drinks and fruit there too.  This complex is very good value for money.  As soon as you leave the hotel you can go nude.  I have climbed the nearby volcano in just my trainers more than once by walking up the Barranco (dry riverbed) and under the motorway.  I walk South to the town and do not dress until I get off the beach near the lighthouse. I intend to walk to Costa Calma this coming December and get the bus back, it is about 9 miles and all naturist but for the town bit at Costa Calma.  Some freehikers have walked the mountain to the West from the Northern end of town near the Faro lighthouse.  It is about 5 miles each way.
