Jensen Button coming to Fuerteventura for Triathlon in April!

Formula 1 driver Jensen Button has confirmed he will take part in April's Fuerteventura triathlon challenge and the news has brought a surge in interest in the event.
Button will use the break in the F1 racing calendar immediately after the Chinese Grand Prix on 20 April to fly straight to Fuerteventura to take part in the half-Ironman triathlon with a group of friends, with whom he has formed a team -Team Ishiban  for the event. The McLaren driver will have to cover nearly 2 kilometres in the water on the swimming leg, before tackling the road race and cycling leg in the gruelling challenge. The organisers, who are thrilled at the news, say they received an e-mail from Button's camp a few days ago to say he wanted to compete. Button and his girlfriend Jesica Michibata, who will also take part in the event, are planning to rent a villa in the Playitas Resort for several days.
