How many would a farmer expect to lose Can

Can the Man

I don't know really Jon, my neighbpour only keeps a few ewes and and lambs, I suppose farmers with large flocks probably loose a few when they are out in the fields, I think 2 per ewe is more the norm rather than 3.

Ronnietheblue

Still sad to lose any, what happens to the stillborn one.

Can the Man

Don't know probably gets burned/buried because they wouldnt know what caused it to die, so won't feed it to pigs. It was sad watching the old ewe, she kept licking it trying to get it to move, and the other two were taken and put under an infared lamp for warmth.
