Goats on the golf course.?

Last Wednesday as we were leaving Macdonalds I was surprised to see goats running along the bottom fence on the golf course in Caleta.  Never seen them before so I was wondering if they,ve been employed by the golf course owners  as grass maintenance operatives!!!

That's a rather derogatory term for someone who spoils a good walk by carrying around a bag full of heavy sticks of iron and very expensive brightly coloured balls.

Long may the choose to do so as golf courses in the UK are some of the most secure and healthy places for the local bird life and I'm sure the same can be said of the beautiful green expanses of grassland we wouldn't otherwise be able to enjoy looking at on this island.

We saw them when we were there a few weeks ago. They were lovely black goats and having a great time eating the trees.......
My husband took a photo so I will try and post on here. They're keeping the grass down and fertilizing the course all in one go, Brilliant....

Phew that's a relief!  I thought I'd had too much sun and was seeing things lol.

There's a surprise!  There are approx. 240,000 goats of Fuerteventura and 66,000 full time human inhabitants.

It's just that most goats have the sense to stay away from Caleta

I'd rather eat a Goatburger than ANYTHING from MacDonalds. I've lived here since it opened and have never been in. I don't intend, and if you read how they make their burgers, you wouldn't either

More lies about McDonald's food!  If you'd bothered to read what's in the burgers, you wouldn't have made such a silly remark.  They use 100% beef, and add a touch of salt and pepper seasoning after cooking. Nothing else.

EXACTLY !!!!!!    I don't think they use Entrecot       Stomach lining,  entrails, all the nasty bits that are left over.

Wrong again! McDonald's burgers are made from whole cuts of beef, not the "nasty bits" you mention - they're reserved for the sausages, mince, shepherd's pie, salami, chorizo, meatballs, lasagne, bolognaise, black pudding, curry, kebabs, etc, which so many people enjoy.
