Does anyone know of a tv engineer who comes to the house as my tv is quite big to try and take it to a shop.

Has anyone got an answer to this? Or knowledge of a tv repair place in  the north of the island? (Out of guarantee).

Go up at the 3 bums roundabout, about halfway up on left.

The bad news is its 70 euros for them to have a look, and in my case, another 120 euros on top to change a failed capacitor (approx. cost  50 centimos).    190 euros total.

This was 2 years ago; might well be worth just buying a new telly; 50 inch Samsung from Electron is about 400 euros now.
