Hi olly36, I hope you have a great stay on the Golf Course this year, with the family. Plus, I hope all those children you are bringing are not of the "Screaming Variety", that seem to be coming out of the UK lately.
Last year we had families from hell who thought they were staying at Caleta Dorada, and not on a Residential Estate, where most people who live here have jobs, either during the day, or during the night, and live here for the peace and quiet, and need their siestas.

I'm sure you'll understand, Happy Holidays   8) 8)

woe 10 no need to worry we only bringing my 2 grandaughters who are 2 years and 5 years my niece is17 and nephew 16 so not to bad,the little ones i can take anywhere they are great, but most parents keep thier kids out all hours on holiday the screaming brats are shattered ,then they are screaming, the best times on holidays are sometimes when the little ones are tucked up in bed and we relax with a few beers and wine while watching sun go down stunning

Paddster

We NEVER let our kids run around like shiites when we were over and they were growing up - bugs me big time that does...... >:(
Its bad enough when it happens over here in the pubs etc,i feel like gripping the parents, not the kids and throttling them the ignorant micturated up people whose parents weren't married at their time of birth. Of course at one time this was scandalous. Nowadays we think nothing of it. In fact it's one of the most common expressions in Scotland and when used as an expletive has lost all its original meaning........ >:( >:(

same here paddster my son has grown up now he,s 21 but he is bringing up his 2 daughters on his own with our help very proud i am we brought him up the right way always polite and my grandaughters will be the same, kids do cry but screaming for nothing is not on

Ollie36,  it´s good to know that there are still some "normal" people bringing up families these days. Some things I see on TV are incredible. There was no need for a "Super-Nanny" when I was growing up.
My experience of living here over the years is that sometimes, like you say Paddster, some parents are worse than the kids.
Last year I had to stop my Spanish neighbour from calling the Police, when four men renting a villa close by, were "Dive Bombing" in the pool at 3,00am, and waking the whole neighbourhood. I went and had a quiet word with them and they stopped. They didn't realise that you can hear a pin drop on the Golf Course at that time of the morning.
Also on the Golf, you are close to the man-made beaches at The Sheraton and Elba Carlota which are much better for kids than the main Caleta Beach.
