CORRALEJO CARNIVAL EVENTS:
The theme for the Carnival this year is The Carribean. Most events take place at the Recinto Ferial.

Fri 8 Mar

from 19.30 - a street parade down the Avda Ntra Snra del Carmen to the Plaza Patricio Calero. Followed by Murga group singing. Followed by a late night Verbena with Zona Cinco and Grupo Bomba (free admission).

Sat 9 Mar

from 21.00 - Drag Queen Gala and late night Verbena with Acorde, El Combo Dominicano & DJ Joel. (Admission - 4 euros for the Gala and Verbena, and 3 euros for the Verbena only).

Sat 10 Mar

From 19.00 - Election of Children's Carnival Queen, and Murgas and Show

Mon 11 Mar

from 21.00 - Carnival Gala with Murga singing and dancing groups; followed by a late night Verbena with Guajavi and Grupo Bomba. The fancy dress competition is at 3am!

Tue 12 Mar

A Fiesta Day in the La Oliva Municipality.
from 20.30 - Old Peoples party with Murgas and dance groups.

Wed 13 Mar

Tourist Day
from 17.30 - a street parade down the Avda Ntra Snra del Carmen with drumming and dancing groups

Thurs 14 Mar

from 19.00 - Childrens Fiesta

Fri 15 Mar

from 20.30 - A Murga Singing Marathon; followed by a late night Verbena withGuira Latina and Kandela. (Free admission)

Sat 16 Mar

from 18.30 - THE GRAND CARNIVAL PARADE - starts at the roundabout just down from Baku.

Sun 17 Mar

from 19.30 - The Burial and burning of the Sardine, after a parade to Muelle Chico.
Followed by a Firework Display.
