has anyone in caleta used british tv anywhere.com.does it work ok.seems a decent price at 5euros for a one week connection,if it works.

Brightspark

whether it works or not could be irrelevant if you don't have the connection to go with it....

goto http://www.speedtest.net and check your speed.

Anything less than a 3mb download might not be worth your time

denboy

it says on the website you need 1mbs or upwards, you can also have a free vpn trial or speed test trial to make sure it works ok.i realise i,m not as computer savvy as you bright spark, going off previous posts,so any imput is appreciated.

dandare

Agree with bright spark; below 3 mb you'll soon get fed up with the buffering

oh it's watchable around 1mb but as dandare says, the buffering could do your nut in....

try it, if you get the free trial then worth a shot

  Correct !!

Carlo

As said, no need to hide your IP when using Filmon. Filmon used to work on my BlackBerry but lately it doesn't seem to work anymore. The sound comes through fine but the TV image looks like an encrypted channel, with diaganol scrolling lines.  Strange, as it used to work just fine ???.

Also denboy, if you download and instal Expat Shield, or something similar, you can then watch BBC iPlayer, ITV Player etc etc.

There's also this site, if anyone is interested. As well as having all the UK channels, it also has Sky Sports 1, 2, 3, 4, S S News, ESPN, Setanta etc etc. It also has TV from around the world, which is handy for watching the football when it's on US channels etc. It's riddled with ads but if you're already used to streaming sites you'll know how to close them and which ones not to click etc. Thought it may be of interest to some. I'm currently watching Sky Sports Centre on it.
