Hi I cant find any information about this hotel or why it is so cheap all of a sudden.

Me and a friend are coming and staying here for 1 week from 28th March. It`s all inclusive and I always thought it was a nice hotel and the chain very reputable.

We paid like £265 each for 1 week accommodation all inclusive. Also for half term it was only £165 each for the week which is crazy cheap.

Is it in the process of being knocked down or something. Any info. Or people staying there at the same time, be good to hear from you.

There are two Riu hotels, one very upmarket and the other is a 3 star all inclusive. The hotel is a little tired. The food and drinks offer plenty of choice. The on tap wine is not great. It has the main hotel and also chalets. Both areas have a pool and their own dining area. You can use either. I have only stayed in the chalets. The furnishings are very dated but the rooms are spacious. There is entertainment most evenings, a show in the main entertainment area and live music and dancing in a smaller bar. I live on the island and we take advantage of cheap deals and have the occasional night there ourselves. Hope that helps.

RIU want to renovate the hotels, but the Spanish Costas won't let them.  It's all very controversial at the moment with the workers at the hotels protesting as their jobs are threatened.
