Flies

Well due out shortly and as usual not looking forward to eating outside with flies. Any info on how to avoid these pests would be appreciated, tried a few things but looking for new ideas. Thanks

I don`t think that there is any way to avoid them if eating outside unless you are at your own place & have a full mozi screen TBH

I always eat inside to avoid any possibility of flies.

We were up at one of the restaurants in Betancuria for lunch when we were over a few wks ago. It was actually impossible to enjoy the food there were so many but from our observations the tables were not being properly cleaned between customers. We just rushed it down & moved on but said so to the staff as we left, all we got was a shrug of the shoulders  😤😤

We alway light a few citronella tealights/candles. Does not stop them all but fewer venture onto the table.
